Roll or Fall screenshot taken during our test
Our own screenshot from the test session.
Game type
Arcade – rolling-cube runner (the in-game title is "Epic Roll")
Goal
Roll a cube along an isometric checkerboard path and avoid the holes and obstacles for as long as possible.
Controls we used
Tap or click to change the cube's direction. "Tap to start" begins a run.
On a phone (390px test)
Works in portrait: the 390px view fills the screen and taps registered.
Load time
Fast: under a second to the title screen.
Difficulty
Easy to learn and quick to fail: our first runs ended at a score of 7 on both desktop and mobile.
In-game ads
Yes – the game loads GameMonetize's video-ad system (Google IMA). The title screen shows "Watch for coins" and "Grab your reward" rewarded-ad buttons.
How a session plays
Tap to start → the cube rolls automatically → tap at each turn → fall off and you get a restart button. Each run takes well under a minute.

Our verdict: A tidy reflex game with instant restarts. It is good for short bursts, although the rewarded-ad buttons on the menu are a bit pushy.

How we test: we open the game in a desktop browser and in a 390px-wide phone view, time how long it takes to load, play through the opening level or round and note exactly what we saw. We only write down things we observed. More about our testing.
