- Adventure – side-scrolling platformer
- Goal
- Guide the panda to the end of each level on a world map of 45 stages (the map shows 0/45 stars), collecting coins and jumping on monsters.
- Controls we used
- Keyboard on desktop: arrow keys to move and jump, Space throws a piece of meat (we started with 3). On-screen arrow, jump and throw buttons are also drawn, which is what you use on a phone.
- On a phone (390px test)
- Works: after tapping PLAY on the 390px portrait screen, level 1-1 filled the screen with the touch buttons along the bottom edge. The menus are small and letterboxed in portrait.
- Load time
- Title screen in about 0.4 seconds.
- Difficulty
- Easy-to-medium: the in-game tip says to jump on monsters' heads, but walking into one costs a heart. We lost all three hearts in level 1-1 on our first try and got a "Try again?" screen.
- In-game ads
- Yes – the game loads GameMonetize's video-ad system (Google IMA).
- How a session plays
- TAP TO PLAY → World 1 map → level 1-1 → run right, collect coins, avoid or stomp monsters. Each level has a three-star rating and you can retry straight from the fail screen.
Our verdict: A classic, colourful platformer that controls well with the keyboard. It is not a pushover – expect to replay the first level once or twice – but that makes it a good pick if you want something longer than a one-tap game.
