Mega Cube 4096 screenshot taken during our test
Our own screenshot from the test session.
Game type
Arcade puzzle – 2048-style merging cube shooter (3D)
Goal
Fling numbered cubes up a tray so matching numbers collide and merge (32 + 32 = 64), building towards bigger numbers without filling the tray.
Controls we used
Press in the strip under the tray, slide left or right to aim, release to shoot. Works the same with a finger on a phone.
On a phone (390px test)
Yes. The portrait layout used the full 390px width and touch aiming worked.
Load time
Ready in about 1 second with a hand icon showing where to swipe.
Difficulty
Easy to learn; aiming at a far cube takes a little practice.
In-game ads
Yes – the GameMonetize video-ad system (Google IMA) loads with the game.
How a session plays
Endless-style: each shot slides a cube up the tray. Our second 32 hit the first and they merged into a 64 while the score went up. On a wide desktop window the score at the very top was partly cut off.

Our verdict: A satisfying, instantly understandable merge game, and better on a phone than on a wide monitor. Good for short bursts.

How we test: we open the game in a desktop browser and in a 390px-wide phone view, time how long it takes to load, play through the opening level or round and note exactly what we saw. We only write down things we observed. More about our testing.
