- Goal
- Fire a volley of balls at the wall of numbered bricks and clear it; points and up to three stars per level, with 5 lives.
- Controls we used
- Click or tap where you want to aim; a dotted guide line shows the path and a volley of 10 balls fires. Five power-ups (fire, ice, lightning, bomb and an extra ball) sit under the board.
- On a phone (390px test)
- Yes – the board, stats and power-up bar all fitted the 390px portrait screen, and a tap fired the volley.
- Load time
- About a quarter of a second – very fast.
- Difficulty
- Easy start; one volley on Level 1 scored 1,670 points and earned the first star on our phone test (200 on our first desktop shot). Later levels are unlocked through a level map.
- In-game ads
- Yes – the GameMonetize video-ad system (Google IMA) loads with the game.
- How a session plays
- The menu shows lives, a level-progress bar towards a chest at Level 5, a shop, upgrades and a "Summer Gala" event. Play Level 1, tap to aim, and watch the balls bounce around breaking bricks. Each volley takes a few seconds.
Our verdict: A quick, satisfying brick breaker with neat touch controls – one of the better phone games we tested.
